About
The pace of life on the Mekong Delta is slow and unaffected by the breakneck speed of Saigon. This lifestyle is rich in natural abundance, though economically poor. The people have learned to be self-sufficient and live harmoniously with the river's plentiful offerings.
Leaving Saigon for Ben Tre, we'll visit the Cao Dai temple and enjoy a shared lunch before exploring daily life by river cruiser. Along the way, we'll stop by different workshops and a local farm for a fruit tasting experience. Then, we'll head to the bird park to spend the night. The next day, we'll visit the bird park and the local market before venturing to the 200-year-old temple and experiencing life in the area, which is known as one of the first Vietnamese settlements in the Mekong Delta.
