Chả Cá is a dish that is synonymous with Hanoi itself. A trip to Hanoi is not complete unless you try this dish. Regarded by Patricia Schultz, author of “1000 things to see before you die” as a must try dish before you die. It was so well loved by Hanoian that the street Hà ng Son (paint street) where the original restaurant was locate, was renamed into Hà ng Cá (fish street) for all the fish that was being traded.
There are now numerous copy cats on the street trying to capitalise on the fame. Fortunately, we will experience this dish the way it was meant to be enjoyed, with an old Hanoian family. Enjoy their hospitality and their stories of Hanoi. An evening with the 3 generations is experiencing eye witness history of real memories and experiences.
Include transfer to and from hotel.
