Hoi An Countryside by Bike

The Hoi An countryside is a peaceful and remarkably beautiful place. Hop on your bicycle, cross the river on a local boat, and then cycle through the stunning landscape on the islet of Cam Kim, along the Thu Bon river. During the ride, you’ll have the chance to stop by and interact with people working in various workshops, such as noodle makers and carpenters, and learn about the work on the fields. This slow-paced ride is not only interesting but also incredibly relaxing.

Embark on a bike tour of Hoi An with a local professional tour guide who knows the city like only a local can. Discover the back lanes, learn the villagers’ names, and listen to the local legends whispered from mothers to their children. Our tours offer a genuine connection with the place and its people through the stories, myths, and legends shared by those who cherish them in their hearts. And, of course, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in occasional local delicacies that will tantalize your palate and give you stories to write home about.

Itinerary

• Start time: 8:30am (in winter), 8:00am(in summer).
• Our friendly guide will pick up your group at hotel/meeting point, transfer to our bike store for bike fitting, helmet…, and cycle the back-streets from Hoi An to Cam Kim island.
• From here, we spend a morning on bicycle to discover local farms, rivers, canals and rural villages. We will learn the secret of weaving the colorful straw sleeping mats, see how wooden boats are made, farmers and buffalos working in rice fields… lot of opportunities for photo.
• On the way we stop at a local house for a short break, we will chat with wonderful people, try home-made wine, ice tea and have plenty of time to learn about their way of life.
• Around 11:30am, we check in the making noodle family, learn how to make Hoianian traditional noodle and Banh Dap cake, we will enjoy what they have made for lunch. Afterwards, we load all our bicycles on private boat and enjoy boat ride returning towards Hoi An. Tour ends at your hotel in Hoi An.

Children under 10 will ride pillion with a child seat.
